"Raku" term came to lampwork from potters, they have special technology, named "Raku". In potter craft, the bowl is placed to kiln with additional pieces of metal, various tree species and so on. The results are not predictable but they are excellent, because of iridescent metal film settling on the surface of bowl.
Lampworkers have some magic, for example, unpredictable "Raku" glass, that behaves very amazing manner. In this jewelry the I used beads, in which I applied "Raku" frits to simple black glass, to pure silver foil, to high-percent silver glass... Every bead is unique, every pattern is unique, and the jewelry at whole is exquisite.
